Description

BOLA Flex tubing EX NW 10 is an extremely flexible conductive corrugated hose manufactured from perfluoroalkoxyalkane (PFA), supplied in a 1,0 m length with outer diameter 8 mm and inner diameter 6 mm. Concentric circular corrugations around the longitudinal axis provide exceptional bendability for compact instrument layouts, and 40 mm cylindrical end pieces connect directly to fittings, stopcocks or olives. Combined with BOLA laboratory screw joints Ex from manufacturer Bohlender, the connection remains electrically conductive, absolutely tight and suitable for vacuum. Wall thickness is 1 mm, bend radius 18 mm and nominal burst pressure 13 bar, with a crush pressure of 11 bar indicated for the design. Net weight is 0,054 kg. The conductive PFA wall supports static control while retaining fluoropolymer chemical resistance for laboratory and EX-oriented fluid handling. NW 10 format with finished cylindrical ends eases drop-in use on existing manifolds and transfer lines, offering a reliable route for aggressive or sensitive media where flexibility, conductivity and vacuum performance are required in day-to-day lab setups.

Questions about BOLA Flexible Tubing EX, NW 10 1,0 m, Ø 8 x Ø 6 mm Conductive PFA, very flexible

What is this article?

BOLA Flexible Tubing EX, NW 10 1,0 m, Ø 8 x Ø 6 mm Conductive PFA, very flexible is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bohlender for laboratory use. It sits in PVC, PTFE & other tubing, inside Tubing, hoses & fittings, in Labware.

PVC is the flexible everyday tube for water and mild aqueous liquids. PTFE is the stiff, almost inert tube for solvents. Other polymers sit between them. The bore, the wall and the chemical resistance are the specification, and the tube is cut to length.

Tubing is how a liquid or a gas moves between two vessels without being poured. Silicone stays flexible and survives repeated autoclaving. PTFE resists almost every solvent and is stiff. PVC is the ordinary flexible line for water and for mild aqueous work. The fitting, not the tube, is what usually leaks: the barb, the thread and the stopcock have to match the tube bore. Glass and plastic apparatus around these lines is indexed under ISO laboratory ware.
