Description

BOLA Flex tubing NW 10 is an extremely flexible corrugated laboratory hose made from perfluoroalkoxy alkane (PFA). Each piece is 0,5 m long with an outer diameter of 10 mm, an inner diameter of 8 mm and a wall thickness of 1 mm. Circular corrugations arranged concentrically around the longitudinal axis provide high flexibility, while 40 mm cylindrical end pieces allow direct connection to fittings, stopcocks or olives. Used with BOLA laboratory screw joints, the connection is fully tight and vacuum-compatible. The bend radius is 18 mm and the maximum pressure load is 2 bar; net weight is 0,037 kg. This PFA corrugated design supports adaptable fluid routing in laboratory setups where chemical resistance and compact installation matter. The cylindrical terminations simplify assembly on standard connectors without extra adapters in many configurations. Supplied as one piece from manufacturer Bohlender, the hose suits medium-bore transfer lines in research and analytical work that need flexibility, reliable sealing and vacuum capability at the ends.

Questions about BOLA Flexible Tubing, NW 10 0,5m x Ø 10mm x Ø 8mm PFA, very flexible, with cylin

What is this article?

BOLA Flexible Tubing, NW 10 0,5m x Ø 10mm x Ø 8mm PFA, very flexible, with cylin is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bohlender for laboratory use. It sits in PVC, PTFE & other tubing, inside Tubing, hoses & fittings, in Labware.

PVC is the flexible everyday tube for water and mild aqueous liquids. PTFE is the stiff, almost inert tube for solvents. Other polymers sit between them. The bore, the wall and the chemical resistance are the specification, and the tube is cut to length.

Tubing is how a liquid or a gas moves between two vessels without being poured. Silicone stays flexible and survives repeated autoclaving. PTFE resists almost every solvent and is stiff. PVC is the ordinary flexible line for water and for mild aqueous work. The fitting, not the tube, is what usually leaks: the barb, the thread and the stopcock have to match the tube bore. Glass and plastic apparatus around these lines is indexed under ISO laboratory ware.
