Description

BOLA Flex tubing NW 13 is an extremely flexible corrugated laboratory hose made from perfluoroalkoxy alkane (PFA). The piece measures 0,5 m in length with an outer diameter of 12 mm, an inner diameter of 10 mm and a wall thickness of 1 mm. Concentric circular corrugations along the longitudinal axis deliver high flexibility, while 40 mm cylindrical end pieces can be connected directly to fittings, stopcocks or olives. Together with BOLA laboratory screw joints, the connection is completely tight and suitable for vacuum use. Bend radius is 23 mm, maximum pressure load is 2 bar and net weight is 0,062 kg. The PFA material and corrugated profile support flexible fluid transfer where routing space is limited and chemical resistance is required. Cylindrical terminations ease integration into existing laboratory connector systems. Offered as a single piece (Bohlender), this NW 13 hose is intended for laboratory transfer lines that combine mechanical compliance with stable, sealable ends for everyday analytical and research installations.

This article is part of PVC, PTFE & other tubing, in Tubing, hoses & fittings.

Questions about BOLA Flexible Tubing, NW 13 0,5m Ø 12mm Ø 10mm PFA, very flexible, with cylindri

What is this article?

BOLA Flexible Tubing, NW 13 0,5m Ø 12mm Ø 10mm PFA, very flexible, with cylindri is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bohlender for laboratory use. It sits in PVC, PTFE & other tubing, inside Tubing, hoses & fittings, in Labware.

PVC is the flexible everyday tube for water and mild aqueous liquids. PTFE is the stiff, almost inert tube for solvents. Other polymers sit between them. The bore, the wall and the chemical resistance are the specification, and the tube is cut to length.

Tubing is how a liquid or a gas moves between two vessels without being poured. Silicone stays flexible and survives repeated autoclaving. PTFE resists almost every solvent and is stiff. PVC is the ordinary flexible line for water and for mild aqueous work. The fitting, not the tube, is what usually leaks: the barb, the thread and the stopcock have to match the tube bore. Glass and plastic apparatus around these lines is indexed under ISO laboratory ware.
