Description
BOLA Flex tubing NW 14 is an extremely flexible corrugated laboratory hose manufactured from perfluoroalkoxy alkane (PFA). It is supplied in a 0,5 m length with an outer diameter of 14 mm, an inner diameter of 12 mm and a wall thickness of 1 mm. Circular waves arranged concentrically around the longitudinal axis give the tubing strong flexibility, while 40 mm cylindrical end pieces enable direct attachment to fittings, stopcocks or olives. When combined with BOLA laboratory screw joints, the joint is fully tight and vacuum-compatible. The bend radius is 25 mm, the maximum pressure load is 2 bar and the net weight is 0,05 kg. PFA construction with a corrugated body supports chemical-resistant fluid handling and adaptable routing in laboratory environments. The cylindrical ends help achieve straightforward, sealable connections on standard laboratory hardware. Available as one piece from manufacturer Bohlender, this NW 14 hose is suited to larger-bore flexible transfer duties in research and analytical setups that require vacuum capability and reliable connector interfaces.
This article is part of PVC, PTFE & other tubing, in Tubing, hoses & fittings.

Questions about BOLA Flexible Tubing, NW 14 0,5m Ø 14mm Ø 12mm PFA, very flexible, with cylindri
What is this article?
BOLA Flexible Tubing, NW 14 0,5m Ø 14mm Ø 12mm PFA, very flexible, with cylindri is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bohlender for laboratory use. It sits in PVC, PTFE & other tubing, inside Tubing, hoses & fittings, in Labware.
PVC is the flexible everyday tube for water and mild aqueous liquids. PTFE is the stiff, almost inert tube for solvents. Other polymers sit between them. The bore, the wall and the chemical resistance are the specification, and the tube is cut to length.
Tubing is how a liquid or a gas moves between two vessels without being poured. Silicone stays flexible and survives repeated autoclaving. PTFE resists almost every solvent and is stiff. PVC is the ordinary flexible line for water and for mild aqueous work. The fitting, not the tube, is what usually leaks: the barb, the thread and the stopcock have to match the tube bore. Glass and plastic apparatus around these lines is indexed under ISO laboratory ware.
