Description
BOLA Flex tubing NW 16 is an extremely flexible corrugated hose in perfluoroalkoxy alkane (PFA) for laboratory and technical media transfer. Concentric circular waves along the longitudinal axis are finished with 40 mm cylindrical end pieces that connect directly to fittings, stopcocks or olives. The 1 m hose offers an inner diameter of 14 mm, an outer diameter of 16 mm and a wall thickness of 1 mm for larger-bore flexible lines. A bend radius of 28 mm allows controlled routing in confined apparatus, while the maximum pressure load is specified at 2 bar. In combination with BOLA laboratory screw joints the connection is completely tight and vacuum-compatible. Manufactured by Bohlender, this PFA Flex tubing supports chemically demanding transfer tasks where fluoropolymer inertness and mechanical flexibility are both required. Net weight is 0,113 kg. Typical uses include analytical chemistry, process sampling and laboratory installations that benefit from cylindrical ends and reliable sealing performance.

Questions about BOLA Flexible Tubing, NW 16 1m Ø 16mm x Ø 14mm PFA, very flexible, with cylindri
What is this article?
BOLA Flexible Tubing, NW 16 1m Ø 16mm x Ø 14mm PFA, very flexible, with cylindri is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bohlender for laboratory use. It sits in PVC, PTFE & other tubing, inside Tubing, hoses & fittings, in Labware.
PVC is the flexible everyday tube for water and mild aqueous liquids. PTFE is the stiff, almost inert tube for solvents. Other polymers sit between them. The bore, the wall and the chemical resistance are the specification, and the tube is cut to length.
Tubing is how a liquid or a gas moves between two vessels without being poured. Silicone stays flexible and survives repeated autoclaving. PTFE resists almost every solvent and is stiff. PVC is the ordinary flexible line for water and for mild aqueous work. The fitting, not the tube, is what usually leaks: the barb, the thread and the stopcock have to match the tube bore. Glass and plastic apparatus around these lines is indexed under ISO laboratory ware.
