Description
BOLA Magnetic stirrer coupling (P-MRK), NS 29/32, Ø 8 mm is a compact magnetic coupling engineered for PTFE-jacketed stirring shafts. It combines an encapsulated stainless-steel drive bell with ball bearings, a rotor and lower bearing in PEEK compound, and a Hastelloy® shaft holder for reliable torque transfer under laboratory conditions. The pore-free, fully welded rotor design minimises leakage paths and memory effects, while the PEEK-compound clamping screw secures the stirring shaft firmly for efficient power transmission. A ground-joint core with PTFE Combi nut (Safe-Lab) locks the conical joint securely yet allows straightforward release. The upper square drive (SW 6 mm) accepts a stirrer motor or intermediate coupling. Overall height is 145 mm, drive-bell outer diameter 50 mm, and maximum shaft insertion length 95 mm; the unit is intended for 8 mm diameter shafts and NS 29/32 joints. Compact construction keeps space requirements low. Supplied as a single piece from manufacturer Bohlender, this coupling supports sealed stirring setups in chemical and process laboratories where PTFE-coated shafts are preferred.

Questions about BOLA Magnetic Stirrer Heads (P-MRK), NS 29/32, Ø 8 mm consisting of: Driving bel
What is this article?
BOLA Magnetic Stirrer Heads (P-MRK), NS 29/32, Ø 8 mm consisting of: Driving bel is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bohlender for laboratory use. It sits in Stirring & mixing accessories, inside Stirring, shaking & mixing, in Lab instruments.
Stirring accessories are the bosses, the retort clamps and the spare knobs that hold an overhead stirrer over the vessel. The stand has to carry the motor's mass, not only the flask's.
Stirring keeps a mixture uniform or helps a solid dissolve. A magnetic stirrer spins a bar inside a closed vessel. An overhead stirrer drives a shaft when the liquid is viscous or the volume is large. A vortex mixer agitates a tube. A shaker moves a whole rack or a plate. The shape of the impeller and the speed decide whether the liquid turns over or merely spins. The vessels being stirred are indexed under ISO laboratory glassware.
