Description
BOLA bottle multiple distributor with stopcocks is a GL 45 screw-cap distributor body made of PTFE for laboratory bottles, fitted with two GL 14 connection necks each carrying its own shut-off stopcock. The black screw cap is manufactured from PPS and matches standard GL 45 bottle threads. Hoses cannot be pushed through the stopcocks; instead, press-fit bores on the underside accept tubing of 6 mm outer diameter so a direct link to the vessel bottom can be established. Maximum hose outer diameter at the necks is 8 mm, and each stopcock bore measures 4 mm. The PTFE construction offers very good chemical resistance and supports working temperatures up to +110 °C. Supplied as a single piece from manufacturer Bohlender, this compact multiple distributor is suited to controlled multi-line sampling, inert-gas blanketing or reagent feed on GL 45 reagent bottles in analytical and preparative workflows where chemically inert wetted parts are required.

What is this article?
BOLA Multiple Distributors with Stopcocks, GL 45 2x GL 14 PTFE. Screw cap made o is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bohlender for laboratory use. It sits in Bottle accessories (pouring rings, dispensers, caps), inside Bottles & containers, in Labware.
Bottle accessories are the pieces on the neck: a pouring ring, a dispenser seat, a cap liner, a tamper ring. They decide how the bottle delivers and whether the closure still matches after the original cap is gone.
A laboratory bottle is a closed container with a stated volume and a neck that takes a cap, a stopper or a dispenser. Borosilicate glass is the choice when the liquid is a solvent, or when the bottle will be heated or autoclaved. Polyethylene and polypropylene are the choice when the bottle must not shatter, or when hydrofluoric acid would attack glass. A narrow mouth pours. A wide mouth is for powders and for reaching the bottom. Laboratory ware of this kind is indexed under ISO laboratory glassware. Traceable volume sits with the BIPM and NIST Physical Measurement.
