Description
BOLA check valves with Ø 10 mm hose connection are PTFE non-return components for laboratory tubing and hose lines. Built from polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) with PTFE–glass-fibre nuts, they join tubes or hoses via an M 18 × 2 fitting thread sized for 10 mm outer-diameter hose. Opening pressure is adjustable from 0,1 bar up to a maximum of 2 bar; the factory setting is 0,1 bar. An integrated blocking function allows flow in one direction only, indicated by an embossed arrow, while the installation position may be chosen freely. Individual parts can be dismantled by hand for cleaning. The flowing medium contacts only PTFE or PFA, giving universal chemical resistance in demanding laboratory media handling. Overall length is 114 mm, outer diameter 38 mm, and net weight 0,105 kg. These BOLA valves from manufacturer Bohlender provide reliable one-way flow control wherever chemically inert PTFE wetted surfaces and adjustable cracking pressure are required. Pack size is 1 piece.

What is this article?
BOLA Non-Return Valves, Ø 10 mm PTFE, opening pressure from 0,1 to 2 bar, with n is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bohlender for laboratory use. It sits in Calibration, service & certificates, in Lab instruments.
A calibration compares an instrument with a standard and writes down the difference. The certificate is that comparison: the standard used, the points, the uncertainty, the date. Without it, a balance or a pipette is only claiming to be right. Accreditation is what tells you the laboratory that signed the certificate is itself checked. European comparison of standards is EURAMET. Belgian accreditation is BELAC. The units themselves are the BIPM.
