Description
BOLA pressure holding valve with manual venting is a compact laboratory valve designed for controlled pressure maintenance in fluid systems. The flow body is manufactured from PTFE and fitted with two GL 18 connections; the medium contacts only PTFE, giving broad chemical resistance. A PPS valve head carries a toggle for manual venting by pulling, together with an adjusting screw and lock nut that set and lock the working pressure anywhere from 0,1 to 10 bar (factory setting 1,5 bar). The through-bore measures 6 mm and the overall envelope is 88 × 54 × 116 mm (L × D × H). Net weight is 0,239 kg. Supplied as a single unit from manufacturer Bohlender, the valve is suited to laboratory and pilot-plant lines where reliable back-pressure control and easy manual relief are required without compromising chemical inertness. Its robust construction and simple mechanical adjustment make it a practical choice for continuous or batch fluid handling under moderate pressure.

Questions about BOLA Pressure-Relief Valve with Manual Ventilation, GL 18 Pressure range: 0,1 -
What is this article?
BOLA Pressure-Relief Valve with Manual Ventilation, GL 18 Pressure range: 0,1 - is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bohlender for laboratory use. It sits in Stopcocks & valves, inside Tubing, hoses & fittings, in Labware.
A stopcock opens and closes a line, or directs it between ports. Glass stopcocks have a ground plug that needs grease or a PTFE key. The bore decides the flow. A two-way and a three-way key are different parts.
Tubing is how a liquid or a gas moves between two vessels without being poured. Silicone stays flexible and survives repeated autoclaving. PTFE resists almost every solvent and is stiff. PVC is the ordinary flexible line for water and for mild aqueous work. The fitting, not the tube, is what usually leaks: the barb, the thread and the stopcock have to match the tube bore. Glass and plastic apparatus around these lines is indexed under ISO laboratory ware.
