Description
BOLA propeller add-on blades, four-bladed, for Ø 8 mm PTFE stirring shafts deliver solid PTFE propeller elements with an outer diameter of 50 mm and blade geometry A–B–C of 50 – 22 – 4 mm. The massive stirring blades are manufactured from polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE); the clamping fixtures are made from a PEEK compound. Multiple propeller blades can be fixed torsion-proof at freely chosen height and rotation direction on matching BOLA PTFE stirrer shafts using the clamp fastening. A suitable open-end spanner with wrench size 15 is supplied for mounting. Net weight is 0,097 kg. From manufacturer Bohlender, this four-bladed propeller accessory supports modular laboratory stirrer layouts where chemical resistance and adjustable multi-stage mixing are required. It is suitable for blade, anchor and turbine stirrer applications in chemical and process laboratories. Pack size is 1 piece for shaft diameter 8 mm, enabling flexible propeller configurations without permanent shaft modifications.

Questions about BOLA Propeller with 4 blades, Ø 8 mm a Ø 50 mm for stainless steel shafts jacket
What is this article?
BOLA Propeller with 4 blades, Ø 8 mm a Ø 50 mm for stainless steel shafts jacket is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bohlender for laboratory use. It sits in Stirring shafts, propellers & impellers, inside Stirring, shaking & mixing, in Lab instruments.
A shaft, a propeller or an impeller is the wetted end of an overhead stirrer. The diameter and the pitch decide whether the liquid turns over. The material, stainless steel or PTFE, decides what the liquid may be. The chuck size has to match the stirrer.
Stirring keeps a mixture uniform or helps a solid dissolve. A magnetic stirrer spins a bar inside a closed vessel. An overhead stirrer drives a shaft when the liquid is viscous or the volume is large. A vortex mixer agitates a tube. A shaker moves a whole rack or a plate. The shape of the impeller and the speed decide whether the liquid turns over or merely spins. The vessels being stirred are indexed under ISO laboratory glassware.
