Description
BOLA replacement inner parts for GL 14 fittings sized for 1,6 mm (1/16") hose outer diameter deliver chemically resistant sealing and clamping elements for laboratory tubing. Each set includes a clamping ring in ETFE, a sealing wedge and sealing plate of PTFE, and an additional FKM O-ring for hose outer diameters smaller than 3 mm; the O-ring remains outside the flow path. The medium contacts only PTFE, providing very good chemical resistance for solvents, acids and routine laboratory reagents. These spare inner parts from manufacturer Bohlender restore leak-tight performance on existing BOLA screw fittings used in fluid transfer, sampling and analytical work. They match 1,6 mm hose outer diameter and GL 14 thread, allowing targeted maintenance without exchanging the full fitting body. The pack contains 2 pieces and has a net weight of 0,004 kg. Facilities that rely on PTFE-compatible GL connectors can keep flow paths inert and extend the service life of BOLA tubing assemblies by renewing only the internal sealing components.

What is this article?
BOLA Replacement Inner Parts, GL 14 Ø 1,6 mm PTFE/PVDF, with O-ring is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bohlender for laboratory use. It sits in Hose connectors, adapters & fittings, inside Tubing, hoses & fittings, in Labware.
A hose connector or adapter joins two lines, or steps one bore down to another. The barb diameter has to match the tube, and the thread has to match the stopcock or the bottle. Most leaks are a mismatch here, not a hole in the tube.
Tubing is how a liquid or a gas moves between two vessels without being poured. Silicone stays flexible and survives repeated autoclaving. PTFE resists almost every solvent and is stiff. PVC is the ordinary flexible line for water and for mild aqueous work. The fitting, not the tube, is what usually leaks: the barb, the thread and the stopcock have to match the tube bore. Glass and plastic apparatus around these lines is indexed under ISO laboratory ware.
