Description
BOLA replacement inner parts for GL 14 fittings sized for 6,35 mm (1/4") hose outer diameter are chemically inert sealing and clamping elements for laboratory tubing systems. Each set comprises a clamping ring in ETFE together with a sealing wedge and sealing plate of PTFE, forming the internal wear components of BOLA screw fittings. The process medium contacts only the PTFE surfaces, giving very good chemical resistance for aggressive solvents, acids and other laboratory reagents. These spare inner parts from manufacturer Bohlender restore mechanical grip and leak-tight sealing on existing GL 14 connections without exchanging the complete fitting body. They support fluid transfer, sampling and analytical instrumentation where PTFE-compatible hose and GL-thread connectors are used. Supplied as a pack of 2 pieces with a net weight of 0,004 kg, the parts enable targeted maintenance of BOLA fittings, keep the flow path free from metallic contact and help extend service life of chemically demanding laboratory tubing assemblies.

Questions about BOLA Replacement Inner Parts, GL 14 Ø 6,35 mm PTFE, PVDF
What is this article?
BOLA Replacement Inner Parts, GL 14 Ø 6,35 mm PTFE, PVDF is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bohlender for laboratory use. It sits in Hose connectors, adapters & fittings, inside Tubing, hoses & fittings, in Labware.
A hose connector or adapter joins two lines, or steps one bore down to another. The barb diameter has to match the tube, and the thread has to match the stopcock or the bottle. Most leaks are a mismatch here, not a hole in the tube.
Tubing is how a liquid or a gas moves between two vessels without being poured. Silicone stays flexible and survives repeated autoclaving. PTFE resists almost every solvent and is stiff. PVC is the ordinary flexible line for water and for mild aqueous work. The fitting, not the tube, is what usually leaks: the barb, the thread and the stopcock have to match the tube bore. Glass and plastic apparatus around these lines is indexed under ISO laboratory ware.
