Description

BOLA Tri-Clamp GL stopcock DN 15 is a two-way PTFE valve with a straight 8,0 mm bore, offering one Tri-Clamp interface according to DIN 32676 and one GL-threaded stub. A cylindrical PTFE plug ensures tight sealing, and the polypropylene handle marks the open or closed position at a glance. The medium contacts only PTFE, delivering universal chemical resistance for laboratory and pilot-scale fluid systems. Sized for tubing with a 16,0 mm inner diameter, the stopcock has a 34,0 mm clamp plate and a GL 25 threaded connection for secure coupling to glassware or hose adapters. Net weight is 0,13 kg; the product is supplied as one piece. This Bohlender component is well suited to aggressive solvents, acids and aqueous media that require a metal-free flow path and dependable shut-off. The straight-bore design reduces hold-up volume and supports efficient transfer, sampling and manifold control in chemically demanding environments.

Questions about BOLA Tri-Clamp GL-Stopcocks, DN 15, Ø 16,0 mm 2-Way-Stopcock with straight bore

What is this article?

BOLA Tri-Clamp GL-Stopcocks, DN 15, Ø 16,0 mm 2-Way-Stopcock with straight bore is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bohlender for laboratory use. It sits in Stopcocks & valves, inside Tubing, hoses & fittings, in Labware.

A stopcock opens and closes a line, or directs it between ports. Glass stopcocks have a ground plug that needs grease or a PTFE key. The bore decides the flow. A two-way and a three-way key are different parts.

Tubing is how a liquid or a gas moves between two vessels without being poured. Silicone stays flexible and survives repeated autoclaving. PTFE resists almost every solvent and is stiff. PVC is the ordinary flexible line for water and for mild aqueous work. The fitting, not the tube, is what usually leaks: the barb, the thread and the stopcock have to match the tube bore. Glass and plastic apparatus around these lines is indexed under ISO laboratory ware.
