Description

The b.safe angle connecting pipe is an approximately 90° L-shaped tube made of conductive PE-EX for laboratory waste-pipe installations. It provides a clamp connection for inserting and clamping b.safe Waste Pipes with an outer diameter of 32 mm on one side and a tube end with 32 mm outer diameter on the other. Each clamp connection comprises one PE-EX union nut, two conical sealing rings of PTFE-EX and one EPDM O-ring. With a working length of 110 mm and a total length of 150 mm, the component offers a compact right-angle transition between pipe sections. Net weight is 0,062 kg. This angle connecting pipe from manufacturer Bohlender supports modular routing of b.safe waste lines where electrostatic charge dissipation through PE-EX is specified. The defined clamp geometry and matching 32 mm tube end allow straightforward integration into existing waste-pipe layouts without additional adapters at the pipe interface. Supplied as a single piece for laboratory material assemblies requiring a short 90° PE-EX connecting element.

This article is part of Solvent waste caps, safety funnels & canisters, in Waste disposal.

What is this article?

b.safe Elbow Connecting Tube, 90°, 150 mm static dissipative PE-EX, 90°, usable is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bohlender for laboratory use. It sits in Solvent waste caps, safety funnels & canisters, inside Waste disposal, in Lab safety equipment.

A solvent waste cap and a safety funnel close a waste can so vapour does not fill the room, while still letting waste be poured in. The thread has to match the can. A filter and a level indicator are common features. An open beaker of waste solvent is not this article.

Laboratory waste is sorted before it is carried away. A solvent waste can has a cap and often a funnel that limits vapour. A sharps container is rigid and closable. An autoclave bag is for material that will be sterilised before it is ordinary waste. The container has to survive the chemical that goes into it. A bag that dissolves is not a container. Classification of the chemicals is on ECHA. Transport of dangerous goods is the UNECE framework. Workplace practice is EU-OSHA.
