Description

C 6000 global standards Package 2/12 is a combustion calorimeter combining advanced technology, variability and automation for precise calorific-value determination. It complies with all recognised standards such as DIN, ISO, ASTM, GOST and GB. Operators may choose start temperatures of 22 °C, 25 °C or 30 °C in each measurement mode. The newly designed decomposition vessel reduces measurement duration, while RFID technology ensures automatic vessel recognition. Fully automatic ignition and ignition-energy determination, water filling and emptying, plus oxygen filling, degassing and flushing minimise manual steps. A capacitive touchscreen provides intuitive operation, control-chart display and norm-compliant correction calculations. Connectivity includes Ethernet for network printers, serial and USB ports, balance interface and USB-stick support; optional C 6040 Calwin software enables extended data handling and LIMS integration. Available modes are adiabatic, isoperibol and dynamic. This IKA package contains the C 6000 global standards calorimeter and the halogen-resistant C 6012 decomposition vessel featuring a catalytically activated surface that improves recovery rates for halogens and sulphur, and is delivered without a cooler.

What is this article?

C 6000 global Standards Package 2/12, Calorimeter, without chiller, halogen resi is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes IKA for laboratory use. It sits in pH meters, inside pH & electrochemistry, in Lab instruments.

A pH meter reads the electrode and displays pH, after calibration with at least two buffers. A meter that cannot be calibrated is a voltmeter. Resolution to 0.001 is not the same as accuracy. Portable and benchtop meters differ in the electrodes they accept and in the data they store.

A pH meter is a voltmeter on a glass electrode. The voltage tracks hydrogen-ion activity, and the electrode is converted to pH only after it is adjusted with buffers of known value. Conductivity measures how well a solution carries a current, which for dilute salts tracks concentration. Dissolved oxygen and titration are further electrodes on the same idea: a sensor, a standard, and a reading that is only as fresh as the calibration. Buffer values and chemical identity sit on PubChem. Accreditation of the calibration laboratory is the field of BELAC and EURAMET.
