BK N11-L N 11 aluminium crimp cap is a silver aluminium closure with centre hole, combined with a laminated septum of PTFE grey / butyl beige / PTFE grey. The septum hardness is 55° Shore A and the septum thickness is 1,3 mm, supporting consistent sealing on standard N 11 vial necks. After crimping, the open centre of the cap permits needle penetration through the PTFE-faced septum for injection or sample withdrawal in chromatographic and analytical workflows. The multi-layer PTFE/butyl/PTFE construction provides a chemically resistant contact surface with an elastomeric core for compression under the crimped aluminium shell. Supplied in packs of 100 pieces, the product is convenient for routine vial preparation in QC and research laboratories. This crimp-cap system from manufacturer Macherey-Nagel is non-sterile and intended for general laboratory sealing rather than sterile processes. Pack net and gross weight is 0,03 kg.
