Description

Chemically resistant diaphragm liquid pump LIQUIPORT® NF 1.100 FT.18 S is a compact, self-priming and dry-run-safe unit for reliable transfer of liquids in laboratory and technical applications. It provides an adjustable flow rate of 0,2–1,3 l/min (water at 20 °C, zero head), a pressure head of 60 mWS and a suction height of 3 mWS. The pump head is manufactured in PTFE, combined with a PTFE diaphragm and FFKM valves, delivering high chemical resistance for demanding media. In this Version S configuration the delivery rate is set manually. Hose connection is ID 8 mm. Overall dimensions are 99 × 177 × 130 mm at a weight of 1,0 kg, supporting flexible bench or system integration. Permissible ambient temperature is +5 to +40 °C and media temperature +5 to +80 °C. This LIQUIPORT® model from manufacturer KNF is intended for continuous liquid conveying where material compatibility, dry-run safety and straightforward manual control are required. Compatible optional accessories include stand and wall brackets as well as PE or PTFE tubing for system connection.

What is this article?

Chemically-resistant Diaphragm Liquid, Pump LIQUIPORT® NF 1.100 FT.18 S is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes KNF for laboratory use. It sits in Pumps (other) & accessories, inside Pumps, vacuum & evaporation, in Lab instruments.

These are the pumps and fittings that are not a vacuum pump, a peristaltic pump or a drum pump. Flow, pressure and chemical compatibility of the wetted parts remain the three questions.

A vacuum pump lowers the pressure above a liquid so it boils at a lower temperature. That is the point of a rotary evaporator: solvent leaves a sample without cooking it. A diaphragm pump or a rotary-vane pump is chosen by the vacuum it reaches and by whether solvent vapour will destroy it. A peristaltic pump moves liquid by squeezing a tube, so the liquid touches only the tube. A barrel pump transfers a larger volume from a drum. The glassware on the evaporator is indexed under ISO laboratory glassware. Solvent identity is on PubChem.
