Description

close-it Maxi closure seals are large-format adhesive labels developed to reseal sampling openings in sacks, cartons and big-bags after bulk goods have been taken with sampling lances. At 150 x 150 mm, the Maxi size is intended for larger holes or longer tears that smaller seals cannot cover reliably. Each label uses an aluminium/paper sandwich construction that closes the container gas-tight and acts as a vapour barrier, helping to stop free-flowing bulk solids from spilling out and reducing clumping of hygroscopic powders. The reverse side is coated with a high-strength adhesive that bonds to most commercial packaging surfaces, including those dusted with fine powder, slightly moist or even frozen—conditions where ordinary labels or tapes often fail. The face is wipe-proof and can be written on with ballpoint pen, pencil or felt-tip marker, so the seal doubles as a control label for quality records such as sampling date, release decision and inspector name. Supplied on handy rolls from manufacturer Bürkle, each red pre-printed seal separates individually at the cross-perforation for clean, single-label use during routine bulk-goods sampling.

Questions about close-it maxi control seal, 150x150 mm, red

What is this article?

close-it maxi control seal, 150x150 mm, red is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bürkle for laboratory use. It sits in Labels & marking (other), inside Labels, signs & marking, in Lab safety equipment.

This shelf is the labelling article that is not a tape, a GHS stock label or a sign: tags, ties, printable inserts. The question is still whether the mark survives the temperature and the chemical it will meet.

A label is how the next person knows what is in the bottle. A GHS label carries the pictogram, the signal word and the hazard statements the classification requires. A tape or a marker is only as useful as its survival in the freezer, the autoclave or the solvent it will meet. A safety sign is the instruction that stays on the door. The pictograms come from the CLP Regulation and are explained by ECHA CLP. Workplace signs sit with EU-OSHA.
