Unlike conventional multi-layer bulk collectors, its two-part design is gap-free, so particles do not catch during withdrawal. This supports professional, representative sampling through several layers even with difficult powders and granules such as glass beads or metal powder. Use ranges from big bags to small containers in laboratory and industrial settings. For very dense materials, a rubber mallet can assist insertion and extraction of the drill rod. The borer dismantles easily for fast, thorough cleaning, and the supplied fixing clip locks the drill rod in the extraction tube for horizontal sampling, transport or storage.
