Description

CryoStorage Vials 2,0 ml are sterile cryogenic sample tubes intended for reliable long-term biobanking and cold-chain storage. Produced from high-quality polypropylene in cleanroom class VIII, the vials are free of DNase, RNase, human DNA and endotoxin, helping protect sample integrity. External-thread construction with grey screw caps reduces contamination risk during repeated handling. Every tube carries a three-tier identification system: 2D-SafeCode (DataMatrix/ECC200), a linear barcode and human-readable text. The ECC 200 error-correction function supports accurate code reading even when up to 25 % of the marking is damaged. Supplied pre-capped in individually packaged racks, the set comprises 480 vials (10 racks × 48 vials) for efficient laboratory workflow. These CryoStorage vials from Eppendorf operate from −196 °C in the gas phase of liquid nitrogen to +121 °C. Vial data for documentation are available via the manufacturer website, and codes import directly into Eppendorf eLABInventory and eLABJournal software for convenient sample management.

Questions about CryoStorageV, 2.0mL,sterile;10x48;e3crg

What is this article?

CryoStorageV, 2.0mL,sterile;10x48;e3crg is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Eppendorf for laboratory use. It sits in Cryogenic vials & tubes, inside Cryogenics & cold storage, in Lab consumables.

A cryogenic vial is a small tube with a seal made for very low temperatures. Internal and external threads differ. A vial that will see liquid nitrogen has to be rated for it, and it should not be overfilled, because trapped liquid expands. The cap insert is part of the seal.

Cold storage slows chemistry and keeps cells, proteins and nucleic acids from falling apart. A cryogenic vial is made to survive liquid-nitrogen temperatures and to be sealed against the liquid. A box and a rack are how those vials are found again. The article is not part of free standard delivery when it must stay cold: cold-chain goods are never included in that free delivery. Biosafety of the material inside is summarised by the WHO laboratory biosafety topic. Reference lines are held by ATCC.
