Description
Cylindrical cuvette type 121.000-QS is a precision spectroscopy cell made from High Performance quartz glass for the wavelength range 200 nm to 2500 nm. Optical path length is 0,5 mm with a nominal fill volume of 210 µl, and two PTFE stoppers are included for secure sample closure. Hellma precision cuvettes are manufactured entirely in Germany and suit all common spectrophotometers. High path-length accuracy and parallelism support continuously reproducible measuring results. The cells are thermally bonded rather than glued, giving strong resistance to temperature and chemicals and helping prevent unintended liquid leakage. Selected High Performance quartz glasses deliver excellent transmission greater than 82 % for exact optical readings. Chamfered edges enable safe, comfortable handling and reduce the risk of chipping. The cuvettes can be cleaned and reused for long-term laboratory service as a durable alternative to single-use cells. Production follows EN ISO 9001 and EN ISO 14001 and meets high optical standards; the SUPRASIL® trademark identifies the quartz glass quality used in this cylindrical design.
