Description
Detectable spatula, L × W 192 × 20 mm, blue polystyrene (PS), sterile is a single-use sampling tool designed for applying, spreading and smoothing viscous media such as pastes and creams. The long, dimensionally stable edge cuts viscous materials cleanly, while a small tip on the long edge can open packaging film; the spatula also reaches corners and curves of containers for scraping bowls, removing residues or wiping measuring and dosing spoons, and is suitable for stirring and mixing. A special additive in the blue PS material renders the plastic detectable by metal detectors and X-ray systems as well as colour scanners, enabling foreign-body control despite the non-metallic construction. Each unit is cleanroom-manufactured (class 7), individually packed and sterilised. Supplied by manufacturer Bürkle, the spatula meets EU food-contact and FDA guidelines and supports HACCP, IFS and BRC foreign-body management. It is intended for disposable use in pharmaceutical, chemical, cosmetics and food & beverage applications.
