Description
Detectable scoop with long handle, 100 ml, is a sterile disposable sampling scoop made from blue polystyrene (PS) containing a special additive that renders it visible to metal detectors, X-ray systems and colour scanners. Although manufactured from plastic, the scoop can therefore be rejected by conventional foreign-body control systems. With a grip length of 300 mm and an overall length of 415 mm, the long handle reaches into larger containers with little content or through narrow openings, while the straight lower edge allows powder, granules or paste to be taken directly from the vessel floor. Individually packed and sterilised, the scoop is cleanroom-manufactured to cleanroom class 7 and is intended for single use. Produced by manufacturer Bürkle, it supports HACCP, IFS and BRC foreign-body management programmes and is aimed especially at the food, feed and pharmaceutical industries, as well as sensitive areas of chemical and cosmetics production. The product meets EU food-contact and FDA guidelines. Supplied in packs of 10 pieces for routine hygienic sampling workflows.

Questions about Detectable scoops, long handle, 100ml, PS, sterile
What is this article?
Detectable scoops, long handle, 100ml, PS, sterile is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bürkle for laboratory use. It sits in Spatulas & spoons, inside Tools & accessories, in Labware.
A spatula or spoon transfers a powder without pouring the whole bottle. The blade width and the material, steel or plastic or nickel, decide whether the tool contaminates the sample it touches.
The small tools of the bench are what the hand actually holds: a spatula for a powder, forceps for an object that must stay clean, a brush for a narrow neck, a desiccator when a dried sample must not take up water again. None of these reads a measurement. They keep the measurement possible. The apparatus around them is listed under ISO laboratory apparatus.
