Description

Digital min/max bottle thermometer type 13000 is a compact alarm thermometer for reliable temperature monitoring. The black housing measures 98 × 110 × 21 mm and includes a flip stand for flexible placement. Measuring range spans −50 to +70 °C (−58 to +158 °F) with a resolution of 0,1 °C and an accuracy of ±1 °C / 2 °F. The external sensor is connected via a 3 m cable and is built into a 30 ml PETG bottle filled with an ethylene glycol–water mixture, providing a stable thermal mass for representative readings. Min/max alarm memory stores extreme values, and each unit carries a serial number. The instrument is certified at +37 °C and is delivered with a certificate of conformity and accuracy. Measurable parameter is temperature. Designed for climate control, cold-chain and laboratory monitoring tasks, this thermometer from manufacturer Schneider is supplied as 1 piece and supports straightforward digital readout with alarm functionality for continuous supervision of critical temperature points.

What is this article?

Digital Min/Max Alarm-Therm. type 13000, -50+70 °C/-58+158 °F, 3 m cable, with b is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Schneider for laboratory use. It sits in Data loggers, inside Temperature measurement, in Lab instruments.

A data logger stores a temperature, a humidity or another signal over time, so a shipment or a room has a record rather than a spot reading. The interval, the memory and the sensor range are the specification. A logger that is full has stopped being a record.

A thermometer reports a temperature. A liquid-in-glass thermometer is a calibrated column. A digital thermometer is a sensor and a display, and the sensor, not the display, is what is calibrated. An infrared thermometer reads a surface and depends on emissivity. A data logger stores the reading over time. Without a stated uncertainty and a calibration point, the number is only an indication. The scale is maintained by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET. Accreditation is BELAC.
