Digital laboratory stirrer LBX Instruments model OS40 is designed for vertical-rotation mixing of liquids in beakers and other vessels using a separate stirring tool (not included). Speed is freely adjustable between 50 and 2200 min⁻¹, with an LED display indicating the actual rotational speed. Maximum stirring volume reaches 40 L. The unit employs a brushless, maintenance-free motor and accepts stirring tools with shaft diameters of 6–10 mm. Overload protection stops the motor automatically under prolonged overload; overflow protection and independent safety circuits halt operation under abnormal conditions. External dimensions measure 186 × 83 × 220 mm; power requirement is 200–240 V / 50–60 Hz with IP42 protection rating (DIN EN 60529). Installation needs a stand plate and double clamp (not supplied); combination with stand plate RTSP-250-001 and double clamp BOSH-001-001 is recommended.
