Description
DURAN® round-bottom cylinder for jacketed vessels, rim cut off and without printing, is a laboratory glass blank intended for further processing into reaction vessels. This component is produced from borosilicate glass 3.3 and has a diameter of 105 mm. Its carefully controlled wall thickness distribution enables the cost-effective manufacture of reaction vessels with reproducible geometry. The rim is cut off, providing an open edge ready for subsequent glass-working steps such as joining to jackets or other fittings. Supplied as one piece with a net weight of 1,4 kg, the cylinder comes from manufacturer Duran/DWK Life Sciences. Application focuses on conversion into reaction vessels for chemical and laboratory use. When the finished article deviates from the original form through further processing, the permissible operating parameters, including pressure resistance, must be established according to the relevant technical rules and the guidance given in the technical appendix of the laboratory glass catalogue. This blank supports custom fabrication while maintaining the dimensional consistency expected of DURAN® borosilicate glassware.
This article is part of Cryogenics & cold storage.

Questions about DURAN® Blank for Round Bottom Cylinder and Jacketed Vessel, without print
What is this article?
DURAN® Blank for Round Bottom Cylinder and Jacketed Vessel, without print is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes DWK Life Sciences for laboratory use. It sits in Cryogenics & cold storage, in Lab consumables.
Cold storage slows chemistry and keeps cells, proteins and nucleic acids from falling apart. A cryogenic vial is made to survive liquid-nitrogen temperatures and to be sealed against the liquid. A box and a rack are how those vials are found again. The article is not part of free standard delivery when it must stay cold: cold-chain goods are never included in that free delivery. Biosafety of the material inside is summarised by the WHO laboratory biosafety topic. Reference lines are held by ATCC.
Which category should I open next?
