DURAN® burette, brown, class AS, with glass key is a precision volumetric instrument made from chemically highly resistant borosilicate glass 3.3. With a nominal volume of 25 ml, the amber glass provides UV protection and is especially suited to titration of light-sensitive liquids, volumetry and quantitative analysis. Precise scaling enables accurate reading of the liquid volume required for titration after the reaction is complete. Adjustment is to deliver (“Ex”) at a reference temperature of + 20 °C, so dispensed quantities match the scale exactly because liquid adhesion to the glass is accounted for during calibration. Volume tolerances meet the error limits of ISO and DIN for accuracy class AS. Fitted with a straight NS stopcock and glass key, it features main-point ring graduation, an easily readable line-division scale and a permanently fired white print. Waiting time is 30 seconds. Class AS burettes carrying a batch number are supplied with a batch certificate documenting mean value, standard deviation and issue date; certificates are also available online.
