Description
DURAN® GLS 80® wide-neck laboratory bottle in amber is a 1000 ml vessel formed from high-purity USP/EP Type I borosilicate glass 3.3, valued for excellent thermal performance and strong chemical resistance. The wider GL 80 opening simplifies access for larger samples, granules, powders or viscous liquids. An externally fused amber colouration protects light-sensitive contents against photodegradation; ultraviolet protection meets international USP/EP standards and remains effective over the bottle’s service life. Permanent white enamel provides a clear graduated volume scale and marking field, while the printed Retrace Code on each bottle ensures full manufacturing traceability. Supplied without screw cap and pouring ring, this amber wide-neck bottle from manufacturer Duran/DWK Life Sciences keeps the inner glass surface with unchanged DURAN® properties. Typical uses include preparation, storage, transport and shipping of light-sensitive materials, media and reagents, as well as culture-vessel applications. Outer diameter is 101 mm and height 218 mm; net weight is 0,61 kg. All glass components support autoclaving at 121 or 134 °C when used with compatible closures.
