Description

DURAN® GLS 80® laboratory bottle is a clear wide-neck bottle with GLS 80® thread, permanent graduation and 1000 ml nominal volume for laboratory media, reagents and samples. Manufactured from high-purity USP/EP Type I borosilicate glass 3.3, it delivers proven thermal behaviour and high resistance to chemical attack. The wider neck simplifies filling and emptying of granules, powders, viscous liquids and bulk samples, and allows comfortable handling with spatulas, tweezers and large-volume funnels. An easy-to-read graduated scale and white enamel marking field are fired on for lasting durability, while the Retrace Code on every bottle ensures complete production traceability. Supplied complete with blue polypropylene screw cap and drip-free pouring ring rated to 140 °C, the assembly is fully autoclavable at 121 or 134 °C. Fast thread geometry opens and closes in less than one turn; a broad base provides stable standing. Available from manufacturer Duran/DWK Life Sciences, this bottle supports autoclaving, media preparation, sampling, culture vessels, storage, transport and shipping in research and routine laboratory settings.
