A clearly readable graduated volume scale and permanent white enamel marking field are provided, while the printed Retrace Code on every bottle ensures full manufacturing traceability. Complete with blue polypropylene screw cap and drip-free pouring ring rated to 140 °C, all components are fully autoclavable at 121 or 134 °C. The special thread geometry from manufacturer Duran/DWK Life Sciences permits rapid opening and closing in less than one turn. With a nominal volume of 2 l, outer diameter 136 mm and height 252 mm, the large base area gives secure standing. Typical uses include autoclaving, media and reagent preparation, sampling, culture work, storage, transport and shipping.
