Fabricated from chemically highly resistant borosilicate glass 3.3, the burette is adjusted to deliver (Ex) at a reference temperature of +20 °C, so that the volume leaving the tip matches the scale reading after the prescribed waiting time of 30 seconds. Main-point ring graduation together with the Schellbach stripe sharpens meniscus reading, while the straight NS stopcock with glass key allows fine flow control. Tolerances correspond to accuracy class AS according to ISO and DIN. Instruments carrying class AS marking and a batch number are supplied with a batch certificate that records the mean value, standard deviation and issue date of the production lot; certificates are also retrievable online.
