Description
DURAN® Original GL 45 laboratory bottle is a clear, graduated multifunctional bottle formed from high-purity USP/EP Type I borosilicate glass 3.3. With a nominal volume of 0,25 l it combines outstanding thermal performance and high chemical resistance in a robust ISO 4796-1 design. The standardised GL 45 thread and matched high-temperature closure system deliver a particularly tight seal and clean, drip-free pouring. An easy-to-read graduated scale with permanent white enamel marking field and the permanently printed Retrace Code support precise work and full manufacturing traceability. The bottle is supplied complete with a red polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) screw cap featuring a PTFE-coated silicone liner and a red ETFE pouring ring; these components offer higher thermal and chemical resistance than polypropylene equivalents. All parts are fully autoclavable at 121 or 134 °C and suitable for dry-heat sterilisation up to 180 °C. This DURAN® Original bottle from manufacturer Duran/DWK Life Sciences is intended for autoclaving, preparation and storage of media and reagents, sampling, culture vessels, transport and shipping applications.
