DURAN® volumetric flask, amber, Class A, 1000 ml with UKAS certificate and polyethylene stopper is precision laboratory glassware for accurate volumetric work. Manufactured from borosilicate glass 3.3, it conforms to ISO 1042 and delivers Class A volume tolerances. Each flask is individually tested and supplied with a calibration certificate that meets ISO 17025 requirements and is accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS). The external amber coating provides effective UV protection together with long durability and good chemical resistance of the colouring; because the brown colour is applied only externally, the interior retains unchanged DURAN® glass properties. The flask is adjusted to contain (In) at the +20 °C reference temperature and carries a precisely etched ring mark for reliable meniscus reading. An ergonomic polyethylene stopper enables quick, secure opening and closing, while the white printed markings offer high chemical resistance. Typical applications include preparation and storage of standard solutions, precise measurement of liquid volumes, dilution of solutions, mixing of components, titrimetric analysis and general volumetry.
