DURAN® volumetric flask, Class A, USP, with USP individual certificate and blue print is a clear precision vessel for accurate laboratory volume work. With a nominal volume of 200 ml and NS 14/23 joint, it is made from borosilicate glass 3.3 and conforms to ISO 1042. Class A offers the highest accuracy grade; USP-compliant flasks provide tighter error limits than standard ISO 1042 Class A units and therefore meet United States Pharmacopeia requirements. Each flask carries a permanently laser-etched individual number on the base that is recorded on the matching USP individual certificate. The certificate documents the measured volume, measurement uncertainty and issue date. A durable fired-on blue print and printed ring mark improve visibility of the graduation. The flask is calibrated to contain (“In”) at the +20 °C reference temperature and is supplied with an ergonomic polyethylene stopper for quick, secure opening and closing. From manufacturer Duran/DWK Life Sciences, it supports preparation and storage of standard solutions, liquid measurement, dilution, mixing of components and volumetric analysis. To preserve long-term volumetric accuracy, do not heat these glass products above +250 °C in a drying oven or sterilizer.
