DURAN® volumetric flask Class A with USP individual certificate and blue print provides high-precision volume measurement in a clear borosilicate glass 3.3 body. The 2000 ml nominal capacity flask is fitted with ground joint NS 29/32 and complies with Class A tolerances as well as the more stringent volumetric limits specified by the United States Pharmacopeia. Each flask receives a unique laser-etched serial number on the base that is reproduced on the individual USP certificate stating measured volume, uncertainty and certification date. Adjusted to contain (“In”) at +20 °C, the vessel features a high-visibility printed ring mark and a permanently burnt-in blue graduation scale. An ergonomic polyethylene stopper is included for convenient, secure handling. Produced in accordance with ISO 1042 and offered by manufacturer Duran/DWK Life Sciences, the flask supports preparation and storage of standard solutions, accurate liquid metering, dilution, multi-component mixing, titrimetry and general volumetric procedures. For maximum service life and dimensional stability, heating above +250 °C in drying cabinets or sterilizers should be avoided.
