Description

DURAN® square laboratory bottle, clear, with DIN 168-1 thread and graduation is a GL 45 laboratory bottle with a nominal volume of 1 l. Moulded from high-purity clear USP/EP Type I borosilicate glass 3.3, it combines excellent thermal behaviour with high resistance to chemical attack. The square, space-saving profile allows up to 20 % more efficient packing than standard round bottles, making it well suited to shipping and storage of valuable materials and to reagent supply where bench space is limited. A clearly legible graduated volume scale and a durable white enamel marking field support everyday laboratory use, while the permanently printed batch identification (Retrace Code) on each bottle ensures full manufacturing traceability. Supplied without screw cap and pouring ring as a clearance item (replacement 218205459) from manufacturer Duran/DWK Life Sciences, the bottle retains the standardised GL thread for tight closure and clean pouring with matched closure systems. The angular form gives ergonomic handling, high standing stability and good stackability, and helps save space in autoclaves, drying cabinets, ovens, storage and dishwashers. Typical uses include instrument liquid containers, transport, sampling, media and reagent storage, sample archiving, media preparation and culture vessels.
