Description
DURAN® Original laboratory bottle, clear, with DIN 168-1 thread, graduated is a 25 ml GL 25 multifunctional bottle formed from high-purity clear USP/EP Type I borosilicate glass 3.3. The material is recognised for outstanding thermal behaviour and high resistance to chemical attack, while the robust ISO 4796-1 design supports long service life. An easy-to-read graduated volume scale and a permanent white enamel marking field are fired onto the glass. Each bottle carries a permanently printed batch identification (Retrace Code) that guarantees complete manufacturing traceability. This version is supplied without screw cap and pouring ring; the 10 ml and 25 ml sizes feature a specially shaped glass rim that improves pouring. With an outer diameter of 36 mm and height of 70 mm, the bottle from manufacturer Duran/DWK Life Sciences is fully autoclavable at 121 or 134 °C. Typical applications include autoclaving of media and reagents, media preparation, sampling, use as a culture vessel, storage of media and reagents, and general liquid containment. The standardised GL thread accepts matched closure systems for secure sealing.
