Description

EBI 20-TE1 temperature data logger with external sensor enables continuous temperature documentation where the sensing point must be remote from the logger body. The pointed NTC probe (55 mm length, 3 mm diameter) is connected by an 0,8 m silicone cable and supports a measuring range of −30 °C to +70 °C at 0,1 °C resolution. Accuracy reaches ±0,5 °C from −20 °C to +40 °C and ±0,8 °C outside this interval. Up to 40.000 values can be stored on a single channel with selectable intervals from 1 minute to 24 hours. The housing (69 × 48 × 22 mm without probe) is rated IP67, weighs approximately 45 g and is powered by a replaceable 3 V lithium CR2450 cell. A two-point factory calibration certificate is included. Typical applications include transport monitoring, warehouse surveillance and process control. The EBI 20-TE1 from manufacturer Ebro – a Xylem brand combines external-probe flexibility with robust construction for laboratory and industrial temperature logging.

Questions about EBI 20-TE1, Temperature data logger with 2 point factory calibration certificate

What is this article?

EBI 20-TE1, Temperature data logger with 2 point factory calibration certificate is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Ebro - a Xylem brand for laboratory use. It sits in Data loggers, inside Temperature measurement, in Lab instruments.

A data logger stores a temperature, a humidity or another signal over time, so a shipment or a room has a record rather than a spot reading. The interval, the memory and the sensor range are the specification. A logger that is full has stopped being a record.

A thermometer reports a temperature. A liquid-in-glass thermometer is a calibrated column. A digital thermometer is a sensor and a display, and the sensor, not the display, is what is calibrated. An infrared thermometer reads a surface and depends on emissivity. A data logger stores the reading over time. Without a stated uncertainty and a calibration point, the number is only an indication. The scale is maintained by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET. Accreditation is BELAC.
