Description
edge® tablet meter for pH/ORP is a slim benchtop and portable instrument that measures pH and can be extended to oxidation-reduction potential when suitable digital electrodes are connected. Unique digital sensors are recognised automatically for sensor type, calibration data and serial number via a 3,5 mm jack connector. Beyond basic measurement, the meter supports configuration, calibration, diagnostics, logging and data transfer. Exclusive CAL CHECK™ alerts the user if the electrode is dirty or if calibration buffer is contaminated; with matching-pin electrodes it can also warn of glass breakage or diaphragm damage. pH range covers −2,000 to 16,000 in standard mode (−2,00 to 16,00 simplified) with resolutions down to 0,001 pH and accuracy to ±0,002 pH. Automatic temperature compensation uses the electrode’s internal sensor from −5 to 100 °C. ORP spans ±2000 mV. Data logging stores up to 1000 records in standard mode. From manufacturer Hanna Instruments, this listing is the meter unit without electrode. Compact dimensions are 202 mm × 140 mm × 12 mm at 250 g, powered by the supplied 5 V DC adapter, with USB and micro-USB ports for storage sticks, charging and PC connection under ambient conditions of 0 to 50 °C.

Questions about edge dedicated pH meter supplied without HI11310
What is this article?
edge dedicated pH meter supplied without HI11310 is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Hanna Instruments for laboratory use. It sits in pH electrodes & sensors, inside pH & electrochemistry, in Lab instruments.
A pH electrode is a glass membrane and a reference. It is a consumable: the glass ages, the junction clogs, and the reading drifts. A refillable electrode and a gel electrode differ in how they are maintained. The connector has to match the meter. The electrode, not the meter, is usually what is wrong.
A pH meter is a voltmeter on a glass electrode. The voltage tracks hydrogen-ion activity, and the electrode is converted to pH only after it is adjusted with buffers of known value. Conductivity measures how well a solution carries a current, which for dilute salts tracks concentration. Dissolved oxygen and titration are further electrodes on the same idea: a sensor, a standard, and a reading that is only as fresh as the calibration. Buffer values and chemical identity sit on PubChem. Accreditation of the calibration laboratory is the field of BELAC and EURAMET.
