Description

Electronic digital thermometer Speed Lab is a compact laboratory instrument for temperature measurement from −50 °C to +200 °C with a display resolution of 0,1 °C. Designed for rapid readings, it combines very fast response behaviour with high measurement accuracy and is suitable for routine checks in research, quality control and process environments. The unit measures temperature as its primary parameter and can be switched between °C and °F. Practical operating features include maxima–minima memory and a hold function for convenient capture of stable values. A water-protected housing with IP67 protection rating supports use where splash or brief immersion exposure may occur. The instrument is fitted with a stainless steel penetration probe measuring 75 × 2,5 mm, enabling direct insertion into samples, media or soft materials. Supplied as a single piece from manufacturer Amarell, this Speed Lab digital thermometer offers a clear, responsive readout for everyday laboratory and technical temperature work without unnecessary complexity.

What is this article?

Electronic digital therm., Speed Lab, -50...+200°C, is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Amarell for laboratory use. It sits in Digital thermometers, inside Temperature measurement, in Lab instruments.

A digital thermometer is a display plus a sensor. The resolution on the screen can be finer than the accuracy. The stated accuracy and the calibration point are what the number is worth. The probe type has to be the one the meter expects.

A thermometer reports a temperature. A liquid-in-glass thermometer is a calibrated column. A digital thermometer is a sensor and a display, and the sensor, not the display, is what is calibrated. An infrared thermometer reads a surface and depends on emissivity. A data logger stores the reading over time. Without a stated uncertainty and a calibration point, the number is only an indication. The scale is maintained by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET. Accreditation is BELAC.
