Description

Equipment package Q90 is a complete metal-free interior set for laboratory safety storage cabinets of the Q90 series. The package comprises three standard sump bases (HF.I.24563_N) manufactured from polypropylene (PP), each with a load capacity of 50 kg and a containment volume of 11 litres. It is completed by one bottom collecting sump with general building authority approval (AbZ) (EP.K.29178), likewise in metal-free polypropylene and offering a volume of 11 litres. These matched components from manufacturer Asecos support organised spill containment and stable placement of laboratory containers where metal-free construction is required. The polypropylene surfaces are lightweight yet robust for everyday laboratory use and facilitate cleaning in regulated environments. Delivered as one package with a net weight of 27,5 kg, the set is designed solely for combination with the corresponding main cabinet article. Shipping is arranged from the factory in Gründau and is included only when ordered together with that principal product.

Questions about Equipment packages Q90

What is this article?

Equipment packages Q90 is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes asecos for laboratory use. It sits in Safety cabinet accessories & equipment packages, inside Safety cabinets & hazardous storage, in Lab safety equipment.

Cabinet accessories are the shelves, the sumps, the earthing leads and the vent kits a safety cabinet is completed with. A shelf from a different cabinet width does not fit. A vent kit is what connects the cabinet to an exhaust, and it is not optional when the cabinet was specified that way.

A safety cabinet keeps a dangerous liquid in a box that is meant to resist fire or to contain a spill for a stated time. The cabinet is chosen by what is stored: flammables, corrosives, or both, in the volume that will actually be in the room. A spill tray is the smaller version of the same idea. A fume cupboard is different: it is airflow that carries vapour away from the face. The rule for equipment worn or used to protect people is the PPE Regulation. Workplace practice is discussed by EU-OSHA on dangerous substances. Chemical classes are on ECHA CLP.
