Description

Equipment package S90 supplies a coordinated set of interior components for S90 laboratory safety storage cabinets. Contents include two sump bases manufactured from powder-coated sheet steel in RAL 7035 light grey, each rated for 150 kg load and providing 33 litres containment volume, one standard perforated-sheet insert also in powder-coated sheet steel RAL 7035 light grey with a height of 111 mm and 75 kg load capacity, plus one bottom collecting tray of the STAWA-R type offering 55 litres containment volume. The complete package has a net weight of 31,500 kg. These elements, available from manufacturer Asecos, enable secure placement of containers while ensuring effective secondary spill retention inside the cabinet. The uniform light-grey powder-coated finish resists common laboratory chemicals and simplifies cleaning. Installation is intended only in conjunction with the matching main cabinet article, with despatch arranged ex works from Gründau. The combination of high-load sump bases, a perforated insert and an enlarged collecting tray maximises both storage flexibility and safety performance for reagents and solvents in research and industrial laboratories.

Questions about Equipment packages S90

What is this article?

Equipment packages S90 is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes asecos for laboratory use. It sits in Safety cabinet accessories & equipment packages, inside Safety cabinets & hazardous storage, in Lab safety equipment.

Cabinet accessories are the shelves, the sumps, the earthing leads and the vent kits a safety cabinet is completed with. A shelf from a different cabinet width does not fit. A vent kit is what connects the cabinet to an exhaust, and it is not optional when the cabinet was specified that way.

A safety cabinet keeps a dangerous liquid in a box that is meant to resist fire or to contain a spill for a stated time. The cabinet is chosen by what is stored: flammables, corrosives, or both, in the volume that will actually be in the room. A spill tray is the smaller version of the same idea. A fume cupboard is different: it is airflow that carries vapour away from the face. The rule for equipment worn or used to protect people is the PPE Regulation. Workplace practice is discussed by EU-OSHA on dangerous substances. Chemical classes are on ECHA CLP.
