Each tip has a nominal volume of 1000 µL and a low-binding surface; this refill pack contains no filter and is supplied non-sterile. The carton holds 10 × 5 × 96 pieces, totalling 4800 tips arranged as towers of insert plates that drop straight into empty compatible racks. Operation is straightforward: remove the tower cover, lift an insert plate and place it in the empty rack to restore a full set of 96 tips. From manufacturer AHN Biotechnologie (CAPP®), the EXPell reload system cuts packaging volume versus stacked standard racks, lowers shipping bulk and limits plastic waste because only the tip inserts are consumable while racks are reused and the outer carton is recyclable. The slim tower footprint saves bench and storage space. Inserts are compatible with matching CAPP racks for this volume range; empty spare racks are available separately. Tips are autoclavable up to 121 °C, supporting flexible laboratory sterilisation routines where required.
