Description
Eyes Fresh mini eye wash is a compact emergency eye shower for direct mounting on conventional cold-water taps with external thread M22x1, 1/2'' or 3/8''. Opening the tap immediately activates the eye-wash function; dust-protection caps over the nozzles drop away automatically under water pressure so the unit is ready for use without delay. A push-button on the body switches between eye-wash spray and a normal aerated water jet, allowing everyday tap operation without dismantling the device. When the tap is closed the system resets automatically to eye-wash mode, ensuring instant availability in an emergency. The freely adjustable head can be positioned for comfortable simultaneous rinsing of both eyes. At adequate water pressure the unit meets the performance requirements of DIN EN 15154-2. An ISO 3864 rescue-sign sticker is supplied for clear location marking. This model from manufacturer Bürkle is intended for laboratories, filling stations and industrial workplaces where contact with hazardous or aggressive chemicals may occur. Net weight is 0,205 kg. After use the dust caps should be refitted to keep the nozzles clean.

Questions about Eyes Fresh mini eyewash station, M22x1, 1/2'', 3/8''
What is this article?
Eyes Fresh mini eyewash station, M22x1, 1/2'', 3/8'' is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bürkle for laboratory use. It sits in Eye wash stations & bottles, inside Emergency & first aid, in Lab safety equipment.
An eye-wash bottle is a sterile saline ready to flush an eye, and it expires. A plumbed eye-wash station supplies a stated flow for a stated time. The bottle is the portable answer. The station is the fixed one. Either has to be reachable within seconds, with the seal intact and the date still valid.
Emergency equipment is what is used in the first minute: an eye-wash bottle or a plumbed station for a splash, a first-aid kit, a fire blanket or an extinguisher of the class that matches the fuel. The eye wash has to be reachable and, if it is a bottle, within its expiry. A station that is blocked by a trolley is not a station. Practice is described by EU-OSHA on dangerous substances. The chemical that caused the splash is classified under the CLP Regulation.
