The sample is filled into the outer vial; pressing the inner insert dispenses the liquid through the membrane, combining filtration and transfer into an injection-ready format in one step. After filtration the complete filter vial can be inserted directly into an autosampler for further processing. The filter system consists of an internal insert with membrane chamber and an external vial, and is supplied as standard with snap-ring caps carrying a slotted silicone/PTFE septum; an unslotted septum is available on request.
