Description
Flow meter TR3, PP, G 1 1/4'' is a compact electronic flow meter for electric drum and container pumps handling low-viscosity liquids. Measurement is based on the turbine-wheel principle; the unit can be calibrated to the medium in use and switches on automatically when flow is detected. Measuring accuracy is ±1 % with straightforward recalibration. The polypropylene construction with G 1 1/4'' connection suits many transfer applications, including heating oil, diesel and sodium hydroxide solutions. Operating limits include a maximum pressure of 10 bar at 20 °C, a viscosity range of 0,8–40 mPas and a temperature range of −10 to +50 °C. Power is supplied by two replaceable 1,5 V AAA batteries. Net weight is 0,372 kg. This Bürkle instrument supports controlled dispensing and volume monitoring on barrel and container pump systems in laboratory and industrial fluid handling.

Questions about Flow meter, PP/Hastelloy C4/FKM, G 1 1/4''
What is this article?
Flow meter, PP/Hastelloy C4/FKM, G 1 1/4'' is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bürkle for laboratory use. It sits in Stopcocks & valves, inside Tubing, hoses & fittings, in Labware.
A stopcock opens and closes a line, or directs it between ports. Glass stopcocks have a ground plug that needs grease or a PTFE key. The bore decides the flow. A two-way and a three-way key are different parts.
Tubing is how a liquid or a gas moves between two vessels without being poured. Silicone stays flexible and survives repeated autoclaving. PTFE resists almost every solvent and is stiff. PVC is the ordinary flexible line for water and for mild aqueous work. The fitting, not the tube, is what usually leaks: the barb, the thread and the stopcock have to match the tube bore. Glass and plastic apparatus around these lines is indexed under ISO laboratory ware.
