Description

Measuring pipette AS 2:0,1 ml KB, zero at bottom, blue graduated is a Class AS glass measuring pipette intended for accurate liquid handling in laboratory workflows. Manufactured from AR-Glas® soda-lime glass and calibrated to EX (to deliver), it provides a nominal volume of 2 ml with a scale division of 0,1 ml. Graduation uses the main-point ring style and runs to the tip; the zero point is positioned at the bottom in Type 2 design conforming to DIN EN ISO 835. Every unit is marked with a dated batch identification and comes with a declaration of conformity according to DIN 12600. Supplied in packs of 12 pieces from manufacturer Hirschmann, the pipette supports optional free batch calibration certificates as well as individual or DAkkS certificates. Distinct blue graduations facilitate clear reading for everyday volumetric measurements, sample aliquoting and quantitative transfers requiring Class AS performance.

What is this article?

GRAD. PIPETTES, AS 2:0,1 ML, CC, ZERO IN TIP, BLUE GRAD. is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Hirschmann for laboratory use. It sits in Graduated pipettes, inside Pipettes & pipette tips, in Lab consumables.

A graduated pipette delivers a chosen volume along a scale, to contain or to deliver as marked. Class A and class B differ in tolerance. A serological pipette is a different, usually plastic, article. Reading the meniscus and delivering correctly, blow-out or not, is printed on the pipette.

A pipette moves a measured volume. A volumetric pipette delivers one line. A graduated pipette delivers along a scale. A Pasteur pipette is an uncalibrated transfer. A piston pipette uses a tip, and the tip has to seal on that pipette. A filter tip adds a barrier so aerosol from the sample does not reach the piston. Serological pipettes are the long graduated tubes used with a controller. The volume and the fit are the specification. Piston pipettes are treated under ISO laboratory apparatus. In-vitro work also meets ISO in vitro diagnostic systems.
