HABITAT cell cct S003 is a control unit package for bioreactor cell culture, including the option for additional sensors and fitted with a Swiss plug. The system enables precise monitoring and control of cell culture processes and comprises a control tower with all connection points for gas supply, liquid addition, multiparameter sensors and temperature regulation, plus an intuitive 10,4-inch tablet. From manufacturer IKA, the HABITAT cell control tower is tailored to cell culture workflows and allows connection of CO2, conductivity and turbidity sensors. Users can select batch, fed-batch or perfusion/continuous modes; chaotic mixing supports homogeneous mixing when needed. Control software offers clear calibration management, real-time data visualisation and full process documentation, with optional FDA CFR Part 11 compliance. Four integrated mass flow controllers provide N2, O2, air and CO2 gassing at 0,01–2 L/min with adaptive cascade control. Four bidirectional Watson-Marlow pumps dose acids, bases, antifoam and feeds with high accuracy. PID temperature control works with single- or double-walled glass vessels. Compact footprint: 223 × 402 × 450 mm (W × D × H).
