HABITAT cell S002 control unit package is a bioreactor control tower for cell culture, supplied with a UK plug and engineered for precise process monitoring and control. The tower integrates connections for gas supply, liquid addition, multiparameter sensors and temperature regulation, operated through a user-friendly 10,4-inch tablet. Batch, fed-batch and perfusion/continuous modes are available, with optional chaotic mixing for homogeneous agitation. Four built-in mass flow controllers meter N2, O2, air and CO2 from 0,01 to 2 L/min, while cascade control automatically adapts gas flow to hold target values. Four bi-directional Watson-Marlow pumps provide accurate, flexible dosing of acids, bases, antifoam and feed solutions for mammalian cell media. PID temperature control works with single-wall vessels via heating blanket or cooling finger, and with double-walled vessels plus an IKA thermostat across 5–80 °C. The compact footprint measures 223 × 402 × 450 mm (W × D × H). Interfaces include USB, PC, RS232, Ethernet, external signal, external pump, single-use unit and thermostat. From manufacturer IKA, a matching vessel package is required separately to form a complete functional bioreactor system.
