Description
HALO™ Bluetooth® pH/°C electrode with PEI body and gel filling is a combination pH electrode with Bluetooth® Smart technology (Bluetooth® 4.0) and an integrated temperature sensor. The rugged PEI housing mechanically protects the internal pH glass sensor, while an open junction and silver-free gel electrolyte between sample and internal reference help reduce clogging. Built for field and production use, it streams measurement data to the free Hanna Lab App on a paired smart device or to the edge® blu pH meter from manufacturer Hanna Instruments. One Press Connect pairs the electrode over a wireless range of up to 10 m; a blue Halo LED shows that the probe is active and transmitting. Internal storage of calibration data means no recalibration is required when the paired device is changed, and sample tagging is available at the press of a button. Overall length is 165 mm, body length 100 mm and outer diameter 12 mm. The double Ag/AgCl reference, ceramic junction and spherical tip support a pH range of 0 to 12 and a recommended operating temperature of −5 to 70 °C. A replaceable CR2032 lithium battery provides about 500 hours of use. The electrode is supplied with storage solution, cleaning solution, pH 7.01 and pH 4.01 buffers, battery, quality certificate and instruction manual.

Questions about HALO PEI Body Gel Filled pH Electrode with Bluetooth®
What is this article?
HALO PEI Body Gel Filled pH Electrode with Bluetooth® is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Hanna Instruments for laboratory use. It sits in pH electrodes & sensors, inside pH & electrochemistry, in Lab instruments.
A pH electrode is a glass membrane and a reference. It is a consumable: the glass ages, the junction clogs, and the reading drifts. A refillable electrode and a gel electrode differ in how they are maintained. The connector has to match the meter. The electrode, not the meter, is usually what is wrong.
A pH meter is a voltmeter on a glass electrode. The voltage tracks hydrogen-ion activity, and the electrode is converted to pH only after it is adjusted with buffers of known value. Conductivity measures how well a solution carries a current, which for dilute salts tracks concentration. Dissolved oxygen and titration are further electrodes on the same idea: a sensor, a standard, and a reading that is only as fresh as the calibration. Buffer values and chemical identity sit on PubChem. Accreditation of the calibration laboratory is the field of BELAC and EURAMET.
Which category should I open next?
